MANAGING FOR RESULTS SYSTEM IMPLEMENTATION PLAN
Binding City Policy BCP-ADM-5.02
PURPOSE WHEREAS, the City Council adopted Resolution No. 36123 calling upon the Office of Management and Budget to bring an implementation plan for Managing for Results for City Council approval before July 1, 2003; and WHEREAS, the Office of Management and Finance, along with the Office of the City Auditor and the Bureau of Planning, has developed the attached implementation plan; and WHEREAS, bureau Directors have reviewed the plan and provided input, and WHEREAS, the City Council recognizes the importance of providing leadership in the implementation of a Managing for Results system,
POLICY BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, the Office of Management and Finance (OMF) is directed to coordinate the actions required of this plan to see that the elements are completed in an efficient and effective manner. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, OMF is directed to ensure that representatives from City bureaus continue to be involved in the implementation process in order to ensure widespread bureau participation in Managing for Results efforts. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, limited new resources will be directed toward this effort and that wherever possible, existing resources will be used. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, This resolution constitutes binding city policy. *Exhibit is in pdf format.
