It is unlawful for any owner, lessee, or person representing the owner or
lessee to rent or sublet or allow to be occupied any property after a notice, as
prescribed in Section 8.68.020, shall have been given, and before a correction
of the condition in such notice has been made. It is unlawful for any
person to occupy any premises after having knowledge of such a notice and before
the correction of conditions mentioned in said notice has been made. In
any case, however, the Health Officer may set such a time, as may be reasonable
under the circumstances, in which either to obtain a correction of the
conditions which cause the issuance of said notice or to discontinue completely
the use of the premises.
