(Amended by Ordinance No. 140207, effective Aug. 1, 1975.) Whenever, in the
opinion of the Commissioner In Charge of Public Works, and the City Engineer,
the installation of a fuel tank in the street area with not interfere with the
present use or with any contemplated plans for the early use of any street, a
permit may be granted by the City Engineer if approved by the Commissioner of
Public Works. The permit shall then be issued to the owner or occupant of the
lot or tract adjacent to the street to be occupied by the fuel tank, upon
payment of a fee as prescribed in Section 17.24.020.
