Jennifer P. Scott

Jennifer joined the Audit Services Division in 2008, after working for three years conducting performance audits with the Oregon Secretary of State Audits Division, where she attained the rank of Senior Auditor. Prior to that she worked as a Program Assistant and earlier as a Research Intern at the University of Oregon. She also worked as a Project Manager of the United Way Needs Assessment Project in Lane County.
Jennifer holds a Master of Public Administration degree and a Graduate Certificate in Not-for-profit Management from the University of Oregon, and holds a bachelor's degree in International Relations and Politics from Scripps College.
In her role as a Senior Management Auditor with the Audit Services Division, Jennifer has worked as Auditor in Charge on audit projects and as an audit team member on others, helping to identify efficiency and effectiveness improvements in Portland's bureaus and offices. Her audit work includes work on the Emergency Management audit that won the Association of Local Government Auditors' 2010 Gold Knighton Award for Best Audit.
She is a member of the Association of Government Accountants (AGA), and is the President of the Portland Chapter. She is also a member of the Association of Local Government Auditors, and has been involved with the Pacific Northwest Intergovernmental Audit Forum.
