(Amended by Ordinance No. 176955, effective October 9, 2002.) If the Bureau
of Development Services is authorized to repair or demolish a structure by the
Hearings Officer pursuant to 29.60.080, the Director is authorized to enter into
a contract or contracts for such work on behalf of the City in a sum not to
exceed $18,000 on any single structure. Repair or demolition contracts in excess of $18,000 shall be approved by
Council by ordinance. Any sums expended by the City for repair or demolition of
any structure pursuant to this Chapter shall be a lien upon the structure and/or
real property on which the structure is located pursuant to the provisions of
Chapter 22.06 of City code.
