On Wednesday, January 9, 2008, the City Council will consider a Resolution to call Special Elections to fill the unexpired term of Commissioner, Position No. 2, on May 20, 2008 and, if necessary, July 15, 2008.  If the resolution is adopted, the filing period for the Commissioner No. 2 will be January 10 through March 11, 2008.
