Series is used to document the design plans and drawings for sewer systems owned and constructed by or for the City. Records may include design drawings, system profiles, as-built drawings, district maps, etc. Records are filed by construction project number. Design plans are characterized by the engineer’s signed stamp/seal. As-built drawings are characterized by the label “as-built” or “final map.”

8804-03 WG, Maps, Plans and Drawings – Reference
Series consists of working or reference copies of original records described in series 8804-02; 8804-04; and 8804-05 as well as working or reference copies of bluelines, maps, diagrams, GIS printouts, plats, and plans obtained from non-city agencies, outside companies and other bureaus. Series is used by bureau staff for analysis, design, planning, reference, and research. Examples include quarter section maps, street networks, district maps, boundaries, annexations, aerials, etc.

Series is created to document the status of the sewer system as a whole, and is used as an informational master to make copies and to add changes to the sewer system. Records may include original maps, annexed area maps, system profiles, sewer system maps, topographic maps and other records that document the sewer system. Series may include electronic CAD or GIS records, CAD or GIS prints and survey data.

Series is used to document the design plans and drawings for sewer systems that were acquired by the City. Series is created to document sewer systems now owned by the city but constructed by another agency. Records may include maps, design drawings, system profiles and other related data. Records are usually as built drawings. Very few of the records contain specifications or related project information.
