What is Ready. Safe. Go.?

This annual training is a partnership between the Office of Neighborhood Involvement (ONI) Crime Prevention Program and the Portland Office of Emergency Management (POEM).  Training workshops are offered on a variety of crime prevention and disaster preparedness topics, which appeal to both the experienced and beginning public safety volunteer.

A special feature of the day is the volunteer recognition and honoring of community public safety volunteers who collectively create a safer Portland.  Awards are given to volunteers involved with Crime Prevention, Neighborhood Emergency Teams (NETs), and Medical Reserve Corps, which are all Citizen Corps programs.

Online registration opens approximately two months before the next event.
