The Bureau of Development Services, along with various other organizations, partnered with Arciform at "The Little Tudor that Teaches" event. This is the first event of the "Get Home Schooled" community outreach activities hosted by Arciform, a period design and restoration company. The overall goal of this program is to educate homeowners on the importance of permitting, fire safety, energy efficiency, sustainability and remodels of vintage properties.

The particular home featured was a 1935 Tudor home at 1035 N Rosa Parks that had been severely damaged by a fire. BDS Commercial Inspection Manager Hank McDonald represented the bureau by distributing brochures on the process and importance of permitting your projects and answering questions. "It is vitally important to connect homeowners to the right resources and services to successfully complete their projects", says Hank McDonald.
