For the past several years, BDS' 6th Floor staff has enjoyed friendly competition to determine which team can fill the most Sunshine Division food barrels. Another exciting 6th Floor Food Barrel Challenge has come to an end and this year the entire bureau can again marvel at the accomplishment of the 6th Floor staff.
The 2007 Sunshine Division food barrel total is 27 BARRELS loaded with food for our community!
The 2006 food barrel total of 17 has been crushed! Needless to say, the Sunshine Division is so very thankful for the donations and effort produced from this fun challenge.
Thanks to everyone for a great, fun-filled challenge. Special thanks for Mike Liefeld, Compliance Services Section Manager, for organizing the challenge and ordering the barrels. Staff is already looking forward to next year's challenge. While there are really no losers in this effort, the winning team will be presented with donuts by the "losing" team after the New Year.
