Involvement
ARB-ENB-18.15
Definition:
A case initiated by an inspector without a formal complaint.
Policy:
An inspector has the discretion and responsibility of initiating a case if
they encounter something in violation of City code and if those violations are
serious and fall into one of the following categories:
- the violation(s) are a serious fire, life or safety hazard.
- the violation is similar or worse in nature to one that was just posted on
a nearby property.
- Target area inspections.
