Beth joined the Audit Services Division in 2006. Previously she worked for the Oregon State Department of Environmental Quality as a Natural Resources Specialist, for three years, on improving water quality in the Willamette River and its tributaries. Beth also worked at CH2M HILL for 17 years as an Engineering Manager and Engineering Technician, managing all phases of interdisciplinary civil and regulatory compliance projects for private and public sector clients, performing civil design and managing administrative functions.
As a Senior Management Auditor, Beth leads, manages and mentors other auditors on major audit projects, as well as working as a senior team member or Auditor in Charge on other projects such as emergency response times and construction contract management. Beth had a major role in a series of five audit reports dealing with Street Paving, one of which won the 2006 Silver Knighton Award for Best Audit from the Association of Local Government Auditors.
She holds master's and bachelor's degrees from Portland State University, and an associate's degree from Yakima Valley College.
Beth is a Certified Internal Auditor, a Certified Government Auditing Professional, and a Certified Construction Auditor, and is a member of the Association of Local Government Auditors, and the Institute of Internal Auditors, and the National Association of Construction Auditors.
