A. Upon filing of a complaint, the Code
Hearings Officer shall specify a time, date, and place for a public hearing on
the complaint and the matters alleged therein.
B. The date set for hearing shall be not less than 14 days nor
more than 30 days after the date the complaint is filed, except that the Code
Hearings Officer may specify a date for hearing less than 14 days after the
complaint is filed where it appears that the alleged violation poses an
immediate and serious hazard to the public health, safety, or welfare or to the
life, health, safety, welfare, or property of any person.
C. The Code Hearings Officer may postpone, continue, set over,
or reschedule any hearing with the consent of all parties or on the motion of
any party for good cause shown.
