  • Public Outreach Forums (citizen stakeholders)--Please be advised that we have scheduled our Budget Advisory Forum for the general public to be held on Tuesday, January 12 at East Precinct Community Center, 737 SE 106th Ave, Portland, OR 97216 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Everyone is welcome to attend. Thanks!--Thank you to those who attended!

These groups will provide a preliminary review of BOEC's budget approach and the development of its Current Appropriation Level target budget and proposed reductions. They will be asked to review and comment on BOEC's:

  • Programs and services
  • Rankings of the programs and services
  • Budget reduction packages
  • Any add packages.

A brief written report will be completed by each group of the discussion covering each of the above topics as well as any comments on BOEC's overall budget. BOEC will address all issues in a way that provides additional information and transparency to both Council and the public and facilitates the ultimate decision process. The written reports will be submitted with the budget submission documents.
