Recruitment Process

 

Recruitment opens April 22-29, 2013 (new date) for Emergency Communications Dispatch Trainee (ECDT) positions.  Recruitment closes April 29, 2013 at 4:30pm or after the first 150 qualified applications are received.

To qualify, applicants must:

  •  Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
  •  Be 18 years old at time of hire 

All applicants must submit:

  • Proof of net typing speed - 45 wpm (typing test required)
  • Complete Application form
  • Supplemental Questions  

Upon passing completed application form, supplemental questions, and typing speed, your name will be placed on an equally ranked eligible list. 

 

Candidates placed on the eligible list will be invited to a Pass/Fail CritiCall Test, a Pass/Fail Oral Interview and a Pass/Fail Background Investigation.  A conditional offer of employment is subject to the results of a background investigation, psychological assessment, a drug screen, and a vision/hearing test.
